Škoda iV Charger

The Škoda iV Charger is designed to charge electrified Škoda models at home or at work.

This wall-mounted charging point is currently offered in three variants, all of which draw on AC to charge the car with power of up to 11 kW. The higher-end variants come with an internet connection so that they can be controlled, for example, via a mobile app. The top version offers an electricity meter so that multiple drivers can be billed quickly and easily. It goes without saying that the possibility of installation in your home is checked, and this is followed by installation itself and the provision of further services.

FAQ

The price differs from market to market. For more information contact your authorised Škoda partner.

There are 3 main steps to the installation service for customers:

  • Pre-Check
Online questionnaire to obtain initial information about the customer’s home grid connection. You can find out if you are eligible for our wallbox using the PreCheck form.
  • Home Check
Physical check by an ISP-commissioned local electrician
  • Installation
    Installation of the wallbox

The installation has to be done by an electrician proceeding in accordance with the installation guide. Otherwise, the wallbox may lose its warranty and might not work properly.

You cannot control your wallbox from an interface, but you can control the charging of the vehicle by adjusting the charging power, setting the charging time. These settings are valid only for the vehicle in question, not for other wallbox users.

Each wallbox has status diodes to indicate the charging process, an error in handling, etc. Our smart wallbox models (Connect & Connect+) are connected to the Powerpass app, so you can remotely control and manage them.

There is a standard two-year warranty period for our wallboxes.

Yes, of course. Škoda iV Charger Connect+ has a certified electric meter and RFID card authorisation, which can be used to ensure that the billing of individual users is fair. An overview of power consumed by each wallbox user can be seen in the Powerpass app.

The charge card is included in the packaging of the smart wallbox.

Park your electric vehicle by the wallbox, turn off the car and plug the wallbox cable into the car. The charging session starts automatically.

With authentication, park your electric vehicle by the wallbox, turn off the car, plug the wallbox cable into the car and hold the charging card (RFID card) in front of the reader on the wallbox. The wallbox starts charging if the wallbox accepts the card.
